Kato Pedina village in the Zagori (Zagorohoria) region of Epirus, Greece

Kato Pedina

Kato Pedina is one of the oldest settlements in Zagori. The village is located in the center of the Soudenon plains, a “Site of Community Importance” and part of the Natura 2000 network. As an added plus to its trouble-free access to Ioannina and the rest of the Zagorochoria, Kato Pedina serves as an easy gateway to the most significant of the Zagori landmarks like, the Vikos Gorge, the monastery of Agia Paraskevi at Monodéndri Village, the Voidomatis River at Arísti Village, the rocks and natural swimming pools at Papingo village, as well as the high altitude lakes of the nearby Tymphe mountain.
